Darts 501 ("the Application", "we", "us", "our") is a darts scoring application available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and as a web application at darts501game.vercel.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights in relation to that information.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently and responsibly. This policy is written in plain language so you know exactly where you stand.
Darts 501 is operated by ICT Support Services, an individual developer based in Ireland. As such, this application is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018.

Darts 501 does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the application. No name, email address, phone number, or payment information is collected by us directly.
All game history and scoring data created within Darts 501 is stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server operated by us or any third party.
Darts 501 requests access to your device's microphone solely to enable the voice score entry feature. When you use voice input, your spoken score is processed in real time by your device's built-in speech recognition system (provided by your device operating system or browser). No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted by Darts 501.
When you purchase Darts 501 on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, your payment is processed entirely by Google or Apple respectively. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information at any point. Google and Apple act as the merchant of record for all transactions. Please refer to the relevant store's privacy policy for details of how purchase data is handled.
The web version of Darts 501 is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. As with all web hosting services, Vercel automatically collects standard server access log data when you visit the web application. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, pages or files requested, and browser type. This data is retained by Vercel in accordance with their own privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. We do not directly access, control, or process this log data.
We want to be explicit about what Darts 501 does not do:
As Darts 501 collects no personal data directly, no GDPR lawful basis for processing is required in the ordinary use of the application. The only data processing activity that touches personal data is Vercel's server logs for the web version, which are processed by Vercel under their own data controller responsibilities.
Microphone access is processed locally on your device by your operating system or browser's speech recognition engine. Darts 501 does not process this data.
Game history and scoring data stored locally on your device is retained for as long as you choose to keep the application installed. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the application's local storage or uninstalling the application.
We retain no personal data on our own systems.

Darts 501 is a general-audience application suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. As the application requires no account creation and collects no personal data, it is safe for use by players of all ages.
